A Brief History

For generations, Gippsland has been the powerhouse of Victoria. Our coal, forestry, and farming industries built thriving communities and fuelled the state’s growth. Heavy industry provided stable jobs, while fertile land and strong coastal ties sustained families and culture. I am a strategic and adaptable leader with over 20 years’ experience spanning engineering, business development, and local government. My career has evolved from a strong technical foundation into senior roles where I excel at building partnerships, leading cross-sector collaborations, and delivering outcomes that matter. Based in Gippsland, I have worked closely with industry, government, and community to shape opportunities in emerging sectors such as offshore wind, hydrogen, defence and advanced manufacturing. My work includes driving supply chain capability, facilitating major conferences and alliances, and helping businesses grow and connect to large-scale projects that bring long-term benefits to regional communities. At the core of my approach is a belief in place-based growth, supporting local businesses, creating jobs, and strengthening regional resilience while aligning with national priorities for energy transition and net zero.
